Zabola Estate sits on a 1200 acre private domain that includes a meadow, a forest, 2 lakes, and 4 fishing ponds. The property consists of a 16th-century castle and 4 annex buildings, owned by a noble Transylvanian family. Guests have access to a garden with a children's playground, BBQ facilities, an outdoor fireplace, and a picnic area.

Accommodations

Each individually designed room overlooks the garden and includes a private bathroom. Baby cots are available for a surcharge, featuring linen sheets. The rooms are located in either the main castle or one of the four annex buildings.

Dining

The a la carte restaurant is complemented by 7 dining areas: 2 outdoor spaces, 2 terraces, and 3 indoor rooms. The dining and drawing rooms are in the old stables, 800 ft from the main building across the pond. Breakfast in bed can be arranged for an extra charge, and meals can be served in the seasonal pavilion in the woods or in the private park.

Activities range from archery, badminton, bicycle rental, bike tours, fishing, hiking, horse riding, to walking tours and cycling.
